After 43 years of working in logistics, Tony set up UCARGO with business partner and long time friend Paul.
Beginning UCARGO was an exciting transition for Tony who had previously worked for a large shipping company for many years. Having built up relationships and vast knowledge of freight forwarding he decided to set up his own business. When paired with Paul’s corporate background, UCARGO has grown from a start-up into an international business.
The freedom to choose the clients and who he wanted to work with as well as the industries that UCARGO focused on were important to develop. Tony thrives on going after increasingly challenging and complex projects and this has allowed UCARGO to develop and do more and more projects, bring on more staff, and open offices around the world.

Jackie has been working at UCARGO for 5 years with an experienced back ground in the industry. After stumbling into shipping by accident starting as a documentation clerk, 20 years later she has absorbed everything the shipping world has thrown at her and grown, developed and built in her experience to come to UCARGO in the early days to manage the increasingly more complex projects that we work on. Keeping the team motivated, delegating jobs and project management is an important part of Jackies role as well as as managing and retaining our clients throughout all the amusement/music/entertainment and defence industries that our clients span.
Jackie enjoys the diversity and challenges of the role and company, you can be dealing with a small shipment or a huge project, every shipment is treated the same – No two days are the same in Logistics and things can change at a drop of a hat.
