Happy International Women’s Day 2021

Despite freight and logistics being a traditionally male-dominated world, (not so much anymore – but historically) UCARGO runs with over half its staff being female.

We wanted to make this post an appreciation of all the wonderful women we work with and without them, we wouldn’t have our business as it is today. From operations, project cargo, entertainment accounts, and finance; our team of women multitaskers are constantly challenging the change that is needed in freight forwarding and logistics.

In our minds, every day is and should be women’s day but it is important to recognise this day to build awareness that although we have a positive view on the women that work with us, in some areas of this industry and many others this isn’t always respected.

Thank you to all of you and may international women’s day continue to inspire change and close the gender inequalities in the workplace.
